itinerary
Day 1: Ouarzazate- Dades Gorges – Todra Gorge – El kalaa Mgouna – Valley of Roses
Morning departure in a 4×4 from Ouarzazate towards Dades Gorge and Todra Gorge, passing through palm groves and kasbahs. The journey continues on the road through Dades to reach El Kalaa M’gouna, then takes an off-road track through the Valley of Roses to arrive at Dades Gorge, where you can enjoy a hike in the Valley of Figs. Lunch will be served in the gorge. In the afternoon, we head to Todra Gorge for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel within the gorge.
Day 2: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Tafilelt – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi
In the morning, we depart for the Merzouga Desert, passing through the Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet Palm Grove. Lunch will be in Erfoud. In the afternoon, the journey continues towards the Merzouga Dunes, where you will ride camels to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Upon arrival at the camp, dinner will be served, and you’ll spend the night in a traditional nomadic tent at the Erg Chebbi Dunes.
Day 3: Draa Valley – Rissani – Bougafer – Ouarzazate
Morning departure in a 4×4 through the Draa Valley, passing Rissani (the birthplace of the Alawite dynasty), and crossing the vast Bougafer Mountain to return to Ouarzazate.
