OVERVIEW :
This four-day tour begins in Marrakech and takes you through the breathtaking landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, visiting iconic sites such as the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, and the lush Skoura Oasis. You’ll travel through the Valley of Roses and the Dades Gorges, then venture into the Sahara Desert at Merzouga, where you’ll experience a camel trek and spend a night in a nomadic camp under the stars. The journey ends with a scenic drive through the Small and High Atlas Mountains, returning to Marrakech.

itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Gorges
Pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Marrakech to begin the journey. We’ll depart from Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, crossing the Atlas Mountains with stops along the way to enjoy the stunning views and take photos. We will visit the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou before continuing to Ouarzazate. From there, we head to the Skoura Oasis, a vast oasis known for its hidden kasbahs surrounded by lush vegetation. After visiting the kasbahs, we will travel through the Valley of Roses towards the Dades Valley, where we will visit the gorges. Dinner and overnight stay by the Dades River at a hotel.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we continue along the Boumalne route, passing kasbahs and ksour (fortified villages). We’ll travel through rocky plateaus with grazing camels and scenic landscapes until we reach Tinghir, home to the stunning Todra Gorges, perched at 1,350 meters above sea level and surrounded by a palm grove. The journey then continues to Erfoud, known for its fossils, and after passing Rissani, we arrive at Merzouga. There, camels will take us into the Erg Chebbi Dunes for a 1-1.5 hour journey into the desert camp. Dinner and overnight stay in nomadic tents under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Marrakech
After breakfast, we drive through the Small Atlas Mountains, enjoying the scenic route between the High Atlas and Small Atlas ranges, passing through several Berber villages. In the afternoon, we reach Ouarzazate, where we will stop for lunch before continuing back to Marrakech.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, we resume our journey back to Marrakech, once again crossing the High Atlas Mountains.
