OVERVIEW :
The El Gran Sur 13-Day Tour begins with arrival in Marrakech, followed by a city tour. From there, you’ll travel to Taroudante, Tafraoute, and Tata, exploring scenic towns and landscapes. The journey continues into the Sahara, visiting the Chegaga dunes for a desert camp experience, then on to M’hamid, Zagora, and Meharech. You’ll reach the famous Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, explore the Tafilalet oasis, and then travel through the Ziz Valley to the imperial city of Fes, where you’ll enjoy a full-day city tour before departing on Day 13.

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Transfer from the airport to your accommodation in Marrakech.
Day 2: Marrakech City Tour
Explore the city’s landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square.
Day 3: Marrakech – Taroudante
Depart for Taroudante, a charming town known as “Little Marrakech” with its impressive walls and souks.
Day 4: Taroudante – Tafraoute
Travel through the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Tafraoute, famous for its unique rock formations and almond trees.
Day 5: Tafraoute – Tata
Head to Tata, a desert town with a mix of palm groves and historic kasbahs.
Day 6: Tata – Chegaga Dunes
Journey to the remote Chegaga dunes for a true desert experience, including a camel trek and overnight camp.
Day 7: Chegaga – M’hamid – Zagora
Continue through the desert, stopping at M’hamid before reaching Zagora, a historic desert town.
Day 8: Zagora – Meharech
Travel to the isolated Meharech region, offering stunning desert landscapes and ancient kasbahs.
Day 9: Meharech – Merzouga Dunes

Day 10: Merzouga – Tafilalet – Merzouga

Day 12: Fes City Tour
Spend the day exploring Fes, including its medieval medina, tanneries, and historic monuments.
Day 13: Fes – Airport
Transfer to Fes airport for departure.
